Welcome to the San Francisco Cup
1987 - 2014 (27 years) Memorial Day Weekend Tournament
To all our soccer friends around the world—we have some good news and some bad news.
Bad news—due to a number of reasons—including a small event called the World Cup—there will be no SFCup 2014.
Good news—we hope to be back in 2015.
We would like to thank all the teams, match officials and volunteers who have been with us for many many years. Without you of course, we have nothing. We sincerely appreciate all the love and support, not to mention all the excellent soccer. We hope to continue to do our part for the beautiful game.
The San Francisco Cup
The San Francisco Cup is an "open tournament"—unrestricted—sanctioned by both US Club Soccer and CYSA. All US Soccer-affiliated and International youth soccer organizations, including US Club, USYSA, NorCal Premier and CYSA-North (Silver Division or higher), are welcome to apply. Our focus is on quality: quality teams, quality referees, quality sponsors, and quality organization.
Boys and Girls, U11 to U19 (teams are allowed 7 guest players).
Each team is guaranteed 3 games.
San Francisco has a long history and tradition of soccer, going back to the turn of the 20th century.
The San Francisco Cup is committed to two things:
- contributing to the development of soccer—both locally and nationally—the development of players, coaches, administration, facilities, and resources
- contributing to the development of referees with a focus on international standards
We hope you will join us.
